Recently I was in California for a few days. While we were there my wife, daughter and
I stopped at Huntington Beach to stick our Arizona toes in the sand. There happened to be a Scholastic Surf Series
competition going on for Orange County Middle Schools. Awesome young surfers were giving
it their best. I grabbed the camera and enjoyed the challenge of capturing a new (to me) sport. Surfing looks like a
lot of fun and I’m pretty sure it’s not as easy as they make it look. These were talented kids.
